qCleandirtandlintfromaxles.
qCleandirtandlintfrombearings.
qEnsurethatthecastersarefreeofdebris.
qInspectseatpositioningstrapforanysignsofwear.
Ensurebucklelatches.Verifyhardwarethatattaches
straptoframeissecureandundamaged.Replaceif
necessary.
9.2.3Inspect/AdjustPeriodically
•Ensurewheelchairrollsstraight(noexcessivedragor
pulltooneside).
•Inspectalloperator(user/attendant)adjustable
fastenersincludingthebackpan,backcaneandangle
adjustmentfasteners,andthearmsupport,ipback
andheightadjustmentfasteners.Ensurefastenersare
securelytightened.
•InspectTRROfastenersandhardware.
•Ensureclothingguardsaresecure.
•Ensurearmsaresecurebuteasytoreleaseand
adjustmentleversengageproperly.
•Ensureadjustableheightarmsoperateandlocksecurely.
•Ensureupholsterydoesnothaveanyripsortears.
•Armrestpadsitsushagainstarmtube.
•Ensurethatthecastersarefreeofdebris.
•Inspectfoamhandgripsfordamage.Ifdamaged,have
themreplacedbyaqualiedtechnician.
•Checkcentermountfrontriggingsforloosefasteners.
Replace/tightenifnecessary.
•Checkthatalllabelsarepresentandlegible.Replace
ifnecessary.
9.3ServiceInspection
Everysixmonthstakeyourwheelchairtoaqualied
technicianforathoroughinspectionandservicing.
ServiceinspectionsMUSTbeperformedbya
qualiedtechnician.
