1. Editing a New T imer
a). T imer Name

When you add
or change the timer
name , the name is aut omatically
displayed in that timer ’ s box on the main deskt op .
b).
Initial T imer V alue
This is where you can set the starting value for the timer . Y ou can set
a negative or positve value f or this starting point.

U se the „F5( Clr)“ butt on from the desktop to reset the timers .
e). Report
type
Y ou can use this item to select the type of audio alarm for the timer .
Some of the choices will create an audible warning which sounds
just before the target value is r eached .
c). T ar get T imer V alue
f ). S witch
Here
is where you can set the target value for the
timer . This can be
set as a positive value or a negative value . T he initial value and tar get
value will determine the timer ‘ s direction. If the target value is
smaller than the initial value the timer will count down. If the tar get
value is larger than the initial value the timer will count up .
d). T imer type
T her e are three possible timer t ypes:
• Standard – T he timer starts or resumes when the chosen swit ch
is triggered and the timer pauses when the switch is turned off. T he
timer ’ s value is not reset when the timer is paused . Use the
„F4(Stop )“ butt on to stop the timer .
• Laps - T he timer starts when the chosen switch is trigger ed .
Once the timer is star t ed , each time the switch is trigger ed , the
elapsed time is stored in memory and the timer resets to your chosen
initial value . T he lap number changes and the current lap time is
displayed each time the switch is
trigger ed . Use the „F4(Stop)“
button to stop the timer . T hen, you can use the „3D button“ to scroll
through the stored lap
times .
• Free-Running – T he timer starts counting when the chosen
T his item is used to assign the switch or butt on to start the timer .

g). Reset type
T he „F5( Clr)“ butt on is used to reset the timers .
If you select „Short reset“ the timer is reset by a short press of the
„F5( Clr)“ butt on.
If you select „Long reset“ the timer is reset by a long press of the
„F5( Clr)“ butt on.
h). Flight modes
ac tiv e
This item allows you to select which flight mode(s) for which the
timer is ac tiv e .


While you are in the „Timer Detail“ menu the timer initial value is
displayed in the first function key position (bottom, left).

