Note: When the AIS target's symbol is activated but the vector is not displayed, the following are probable causes
of the trouble:
COG/SOG is not yet input from the GPS.
The selected speed sensor is malfunctioning.
Types and Definitions of Association Target Symbols
When a tracked target and an AIS target are decided as identical, it is displayed with either of the following
symbols:
Vector/Symbol Definition Remarks
Priority for tracked target
Association target
Priority for AIS target
Association target
Setting of Tracked Target Symbol Display
This function switches the tracking target symbol display between on and off.
Even if the tracking target symbol display is turned off, the data is retained.
Procedures 1 Left-click the button in the Target Information located at the upper
right of the display.
The tracking target symbol display will be set to on or off.
Setting of AIS Target Symbol Display
This function switches the AIS target symbol display between on and off.
Procedures 1 Left-click the button in the Target Information located at the upper
right of the display.
The AIS target symbol display will be set to on or off.
