Performing a Full Calibration
(For all Instruments Except the Inclinometers and Goniometer)
Follow these steps to perform a full calibraon:
1. Select “Sengs” from the main menu.
2. Select “Instrument” from the Sengs menu.
3. Select the Instrument, for which you wish to perform a full calibraon.
4. Highlight the “System” opon in the Instrument menu.
5. Move the Control Sck le or right unl you highlight “Calibraon.”
6. Press the Control Sck to begin calibraon.
7. The Commander Echo Console will now aempt to connect to the selected instrument. Press the “On”
buon for the corresponding instrument followed by pressing the Control Sck on the Console to establish
connecon.
8. Follow the prompt to Press the Control Sck to set the instrument zero.
9. Move the Control Sck up and down to select the desired weight to be used for calibraon.
10. Once the proper weight has been selected, and this weight is currently being applied to the instrument,
press the Control Sck to enter the calibraon point.
Performing a Full Calibration on the Inclinometers
Follow These Steps to Perform a Full Calibraon:
 Note: The angles for a full calibraon on the inclinometers must be exact for the calibraon to be valid. It is
recommended to use a T-Square or other tools that have exact right angles.
1. Select “Sengs” from the main menu.
2. Select “Instrument” from the Sengs menu.
3. Select “Inclinometer.”
4. Select the device ID for the Instrument which you wish to perform a full calibraon.
5. Using the joysck, scroll to the “System” opon in the Instrument menu.
6. Move the joysck le or right unl you highlight “Cal.”
7. Press the joysck to begin calibraon.
8. The Commander Echo Console will now aempt to connect to the selected instrument.
9. Press the “on” buon for the corresponding instrument to establish connecon.
10. Set the inclinometer in the upright posion.
11. Press the joysck to save this posion.
12. Rotate the inclinometer 90 degrees to the le.
13. Press the joysck to save this posion.
14. Rotate the inclinometer 90 degrees more to the le, so it is 180 degrees from the starng posion.
15. Press the joysck to save this posion.
16. Rotate the inclinometer an addional 90 degrees to the le, so it is 270 degrees from the starng posion.
17. Press the joysck to save this posion.
Performing a Full Calibration on the Goniometer
Follow These Steps to Perform a Full Calibraon:
1. Follow Steps 1-9 as above, selecng the goniometer in Step 3
2. Fully close the arm of the goniometer.
3. Press the joysck to set the instrument zero.
4. Open the arm of the goniometer to 180°
5. Press the joysck to save the calibraon
