Thread spreader
Moving knife
Function of the thread spreader (especially when
the threads are trimmed).
The thread spreader fi rmly holds the looper thread and
the needle thread at 2 places of a loop before the needle
goes up to it's upper dead position to stop. Then, the tip
of the moving knife comes to hook these 2 threads and
trims them off.
