8.7.2 Resolution
The resolution of the display can be varied by changing the number of visible decimals after the point. This
change has no influence on the measurement itself. The five digits before the point are always on. The
number of decimals after the point can be selected by the customer at 0, 1, 2 or 3 decimals when
submitting the order. If no selection is made, the default value of three decimals after the point will be
used. If the resolution is set at 0, 1 or 2 decimals, the last digit/digits will be removed without round-off.
8.7.3 Dots (flashing squares)
The two dots (framed in the above sketch) indicate that the meter is active. They are alternately ON at a
frequency determined by the meter's mode (see paragraph 8.5.1). In normal mode they flash once a
second. In verification mode they flash twice a second.
