The table below summarizes and describes the data comprised by the Wireless M-Bus data packet:
Serial number
The meter’s serial number. The serial number will never be encrypted.
Meter specific data
Identification as cold water meter
Kamstrup's specific Wireless M-Bus producer-ID
Information on length and format of data packet
Information on encryption of data packet
The current meter count from the meter's legal register
Target volume
Meter reading of the 1

Max. flow
Maximum flow, which has been measured in the last completed month, respectively 24
hours, provided the 'R' value 2, 4 or 9 has been selected.
Water
temperature
Minimum or average water temperature for the last completed month or day depending
on the choice of the 'R'
Meter temperature
Minimum, maximum or average ambient/meter temperature, latest month or 24 hours
– depending on choise of ’R’- value
Info codes which are active at present
codes
Info codes which have been active within the latest 30 days including information on
how long they have been active – on a scale of 1-7

If encryption has been selected when submitting the order, all variable data will be encrypted with 128 bit
AES counter mode encryption. Kamstrup A/S recommends encryption.
If the meter is configured for Wireless M-Bus mode T1 OMS, data transmission will only take place every 15
minutes – four times per hour.
Kamstrup does not offer reading devices for Wireles M-Bus mode T1 OMS.
