5 Power supply
MULTICAL® 801 is power supplied by 24 VAC or 230 VAC.
5.1 Backup battery
MULTICAL® 801 includes  bckup bttery, which ensures tht ll relevnt
mesurements continue during power filure.
The bttery ought to be replced fter 10 yers’ norml opertion, or fter 1
yer without mins connection.
The type number of the bckup bttery is 66-99-619.
The voltge of  lithium bttery is lmost constnt throughout the whole
lifetime of the bttery (pprox. 3.65 V). Therefore, it is not possible to
determine the remining cpcity by mesuring the voltge.
The bttery cnnot nd must not be chrged nd must not be short-
circuited. Used btteries must be hnded in for pproved destruction, e.g. t
Kmstrup.
6 Operational check
Crry out n opertionl check when the energy meter hs been fully
mounted. Open thermo-regultors nd cocks in order to estblish  wter
flow through the heting system. Activte the upper push button on the
MULTICAL® 801 nd check tht the disply vlues for temperture nd wter
flow re relible.
