13.2 Service, maintenance
 The appliance may only be opened by trained service technicians who are
authorized by KERN.
 Ensure that the balance is regularly calibrated, see chap. Testing
instruments control.
13.2.1 Remove protective glass guard

Avoid contact with halogen lamp and sensor!

Handle protective glass guard with care.
Attention: Risk of breakage

Risk of cuts.
1. Open heated cover.
2. Undo the screws marked with arrows with the
hexagonal socket wrench included in the scope
of supply.
