VVV is the version number of the Counter’s firmware, and XX, YYY, and ZZZZ are
other numerical codes that are reserved for Keysight internal use. The flashing
annunciators at either end of the first line of the display indicate that you can use
the equivalent arrow key to scroll left and/or right to the next field of information.
The option-code display lists the code number for each of the installed options.
For example, in a Counter that has the Battery and Oven Timebase options
installed, the display would show: <OPTNS 1-2- - ->.
