Using the Menu
The Keysight 53150A/151A/152A Counter has one menu that you use to control a
number of the Counter’s features and functions.
Displaying the Menu
To display the Menu, press the Shift key and then the Menu (Reset/Local) key, as
shown below.
Navigating in the Menu and Changing Settings
Use the Selection (arrow) keys to navigate to the setting you want to change and
then to actually make the changes. For example, the diagram on the next page
shows how to change the setting of the Reference Oscillator from INTernal to
EXTernal. (In this example, a reference signal is applied to the External Reference
connector, but no signal is applied to the Channel 2 input.)
NOTE
If your Counter has the Battery option, you can extend the length of time the
Counter can operate from the batteries by turning off the display backlight.

NOTE
The Counter will not switch to EXTernal unless a suitable reference signal is
available at the External Reference connector.
