Charging the Batteries
The batteries are charged automatically whenever the instrument is connected to
an AC power source and is in Standby mode. The amount of time required to fully
charge the batteries is dependent on several factors, including the current charge
level, the condition of the batteries, the ambient temperature, and the power
source used for charging. In general, it takes approximately eight hours to charge
two batteries inside the instrument.

“Accessories Supplied and Available” on page 24.
