Prepare Instrument for Use
Initial inspection
When you receive your instrument, inspect it for any obvious damage that may have occurred during shipment. If
there is damage, notify the shipping carrier and nearest Keysight Sales and Support Office immediately. Refer to
www.keysight.com/find/assist.
Until you have checked out the instrument, save the shipping carton and packing materials in case the unit has to
be returned. Check the list under Standard Shipped Items and verify that you have received these items with your
instrument. If anything is missing, please contact your nearest Keysight Sales and Support Office.
Standard shipped items
– Keysight EL33133A/EL34143A/EL34243A DC electronic load
– AC power cord
– Certificate of calibration
Shipped with the EL34143A models:
– One 10 A, 3.5 mm female 4-pin terminal I/O block connector
– One 8 A, 3.5 mm 2-pin terminal sense block connector
– One 85 A, 12 mm 2-pin mating connector
Shipped with the EL34243A model:
– One 10 A, 3.5 mm female 4-pin terminal I/O block connector
– Two 8 A, 3.5 mm 2-pin terminal sense block connector
– Two 85 A, 12 mm 2-pin mating connector

Keysight Technologies recommends a one-year calibration cycle for the EL30000 Series DC electronic load.
