Setting Up the Oscilloscope 1
Keysight Infiniium 90000A Series Oscilloscopes User’s Guide 17
Connecting Accessories and Cables
Plug the supplied mouse and keyboard into the USB ports. If you choose to use a
PS2 mouse or keyboard, you must plug it in to the PS2 port on the rear panel
before turning on power to the oscilloscope.
Connect your LAN cable to the RJ-45 LAN connector on the back panel of the
oscilloscope.

NOTE
Connecting devices to all three USB ports on the front of the oscilloscope may cause the
start-up process to stop due to overload. We recommend using the ports on the rear of the
oscilloscope, or connecting the devices after the power-up cycle is complete.
NOTE
After you have connected to the LAN card, you must set up the network. Exit the oscilloscope
application before you start setting up your network.
If you do not know how to set up a network in the Windows 7 operating system, see your
network administrator or use the Windows 7 operating system’s online help.
