on
the infotainment system screen.
For detailed information, refer to the
separately supplied infotainment system
manual.
Rear Occupant Alert (ROA) does not
actually detect objects or people in the
rear seat. By using a rear door opened
and closed history, the system informs
the driver that there may be something
in the rear seat.
僅 Rear Occupant Alert (ROA) uses a
rear door opened and closed history.
僅 The history is reset after the driver
turns the vehicle off normally, exits
the vehicle and locks the door
remotely. So even if a rear door does
not reopen, Rear Occupant Alert
(ROA) alert can occur.
僅 For example, after the Rear Occupant
Alert (ROA) alert occurs, if the driver
does not lock the door, and drives
again, the alert can occur.
The door lock system may not work if
the electrical system is compromised.
Accordingly, please train children pas
-
sengers regarding how to open the car
door manually before an emergency sit
-
uation arises. That way, they would be
able to open the door manually in the
event an emergency situation arises.
