brakes and functions to stop the vehicle
or keep it stationary.
Power brakes

In the event of a vehicle power failure,
the power assist for the brakes will not
work. You can still stop your vehicle, but
it will require greater force and
increased pedal travel than normal. The
stopping distance, however, will be lon

ger than with power brakes.

deicing chemicals are applied, the
vehicle may witness noises from the
brake or abnormal abrasion of tires
because of such deicing chemicals.
You should operate brake additionally
so that you would be able to remove
the deicing chemicals on the brake
disk and pad under a safe traffic con
