Charging door
Opening and closing the charging
door
僅 Push the charging door open/close
button on the lower crashpad or press
the rear center edge of the charging
door.
僅 Push the charging door close button
located inner part of the charging
door.
Do not leave the vehicle with the
charging door open. An open charging
door may indicate that the vehicle door
has been unlocked and may be subject
to vehicle theft.
The charging door opens to the right.
Check the surrounding while the
charging door is open or close. Use care
when opening and closing the charging
door to avoid your head or limbs from
being hit or entrapped by the charging
door.
Do not hold the hinge to prevent damag

ing the charging door and causing other
accidents.
僅 The charging door automatically
closes when:
- The charging connector is discon

nected
- The door is opened and the
charging connector is not con
-
nected for approximately 2 minutes
- The gear is not in P (Park)
僅 After replacing battery (12 volt), open
and close the charging door once to
check that the charging door auto
-
matic opening mechanism is function
-
ing properly.

because ice has formed around it, tap
lightly or push on the door to break
the ice and release the door. If neces

sary, use hand temperature to melt
down the ice or move the vehicle to a
warm place and allow the ice to melt.
