12. To remove the vent, lift it off the vent
opening. NOTE: Check the condition of
the rubber drip seals. If they are cracked or
torn, replace them before reinstalling the
glass.
10. Lower the cooktop and position the control
panel forward, away from the edge of the
glass.
11. To remove the cooktop glass, lift the
front edge, pull it forward, and remove the
rear edge from under the rear trim.
IMPORTANT: When you reinstall the
cooktop glass, keep the side edges of the
glass inside the four alignment tabs (two
on each side). If the glass is over the tabs,
it could break when you lower it.
