To use digital zoom:
1 Turn the camera on in CAPTURE mode.
In this mode, you can access the full
optical zoom range plus the additional
digital zoom range.
2 Press the DISPLAY button to turn on the
LCD.
3 Move and hold the ZOOM switch all the
way to the right (toward T) to zoom to
the camera’s maximum range.
4 View the subject through camera LCD.
The LCD displays an icon indicating that
digital zoom is in effect.
☞ Digital zoom is disabled when you turn
the LCD off.
5 Press the SHUTTER button to take the
picture.
