15. About Each Circuit Boards
Caution: Be sure to turn off the unit when opening the maintenance slid.
The voltage is on the unit for several minutes after the unit is turned off.
Wait at least five minutes before exchanging the MDU boards.
The maintenance slide can be opened by removing the two screws on the top of the unit
and the two screws on the back of the unit.
MDU 5860 Board is controls each motor.
(Not compatible with the MDU 6575 Board used in older units.)
To remove the MDU board from the main unit, simply loosen the M3 cap screws at the
back of the hole (2 locations) on the MDU5860 board. (See the arrow hole in the photo
below) Don’t disassemble the board any further.
On the MDU board, all rotary dip switch dials use "3"
On the dip switch above it (DSW3), switches 2 and 3 use the top side, and switches 1 and
4 use the bottom side.
The dip switch (DSW2) on the left side of the MDU board uses the right side.
The three MDU boards use the same settings.
If you change the MDU board, make sure each switch is set as shown above.
(C370G cannot use MDU5860 board REV:6 or lower types.)
