7.9 Cooling system
Safety instructions regarding the cooling system
The combined water and oil radiator is located in the engine compartment.
It cools the diesel engine coolant, and the hydraulic oil of the drive and
operating hydraulics.
Caustic injury hazard! Risk of swallowing antifreeze when handling
it!
Can cause serious injury or death.
► Seek medical attention immediately if antifreeze has been swallowed.
► Keep antifreeze out of reach of children.
Burn hazard due to hot coolant!
Hot coolant can cause burns to the skin.
► Do not open the coolant reservoir if the engine is hot or if the cooling
system is under pressure.
► Let the engine cool down.
► Wear protective clothes.
In order to avoid possible damage to the cooling system, have the coolant
drained (every 2 years) and the radiator cleaned only by an authorised
service centre.
