5. Connect INPUTS 1 to 16 on the VS-1616A unit designated as
MACHINE ADDRESS # 2 with INPUTS 1 to 16 on the VS-1616A unit
designated as MACHINE ADDRESS # 1.
INPUTS 1 to 16 become the SYSTEM INPUTS 1 to 16.
6. Connect INPUTS 17 to 32 on the VS-1616A unit designated as
MACHINE ADDRESS # 8 with INPUTS 17 to 32 on the VS-1616A
unit designated as MACHINE ADDRESS # 7.
INPUTS 17 to 32 become the SYSTEM INPUTS 17 to 32.
7. Connect the balanced outputs 1 to 16 (OUTPUT 1 (1-16)) from the VS-
1616A unit designated as (MACHINE ADDRESS # 7)

required, connect the balanced outputs 1 to 16 (OUTPUT 2 (1-16)) from
the VS-1616A unit designated as (MACHINE ADDRESS # 1) .
8. Connect the balanced outputs 17 to 32 (OUTPUT 1 (17-32)) from the
VS-1616A unit designated as (MACHINE ADDRESS # 8)
