The round bale must be tied with suitable film stretching. KRONE recommends pre-stretching of
5-10 %. You can check as follows whether this pre-stretching of 5-10% was achieved.

• Using a film pen, draw two horizontal lines (1) at a distance X=100 mm on the film.
• Cut out the piece (2) all around the two drawn lines. Make sure to cut out all film layers.
• Allow all film layers of the cut-out piece (2) to rest for at least 3 minutes.
• Measure the distance X between the drawn lines (1).
If the distance X is between 91 and 95 mm, the pre-strain is correctly set.
