7.2.2.3 Cleaning filters
CAUTION
Insufficient inlet pressure due to clogged filter in the suction line
Damage to the pump!
▷ Monitor contamination of filter with suitable means (e.g. differential pressure
gauge).
▷ Clean filter at appropriate intervals.
7.2.3 Lubrication and lubricant change of rolling element bearings
DANGER
Excessive temperatures as a result of bearings running hot or defective bearing
seals
Explosion hazard!
Fire hazard!
Damage to the pump set!
▷ Regularly check the condition of the lubricant.
7.2.3.1 Oil lubrication
The rolling element bearings are usually lubricated with mineral oil.
