Reed valve housing, intake flange
NOTE: The reed paddles 1 slowly lose their tension during operation,
thus reducing the overall performance. Damaged or worn reed paddles
must therefore be replaced.
The entire reed valve housing must be exchanged if the sealing surfaces
of the reed valve housing
2 are also damaged.

HEN MOUNTING THE REED VALVE HOUSING BE SURE TO APPLY LOCTITE 243 TO
ALL BOLTS

Velocity insert

Check for tight fit and damage.
Intake flange

Check for cracks and other damage.
NOTE: Model 2000 onwards velocity insert
3 and wing 5 is only
available as one part.
Measure distance
M between the stop plates with a sliding gauge.
Distance
M = 28 mm (1.1 in)
