– Position the fork protection on the left fork leg. Mount and tighten screws 2.
Guideline
Remaining screws, chassis M6 10 Nm (7.4 lbf ft)
– Position the brake line. Mount clamp 3.
– Mount the screws 4.

Preparatory work
– Raise the motorcycle with a lift stand. ( p. 27)

Remove the front wheel. x ( p. 58)

Main work
– Remove screws 1 and take off the clamp.
– Remove screws 2 and take off the brake caliper.
– Hang the brake caliper and the brake line loosely to the side.

– Loosen screws 3. Remove the left fork leg.
– Loosen screws 4. Remove the right fork leg.

Danger of accidents Modifications to the suspension settings can seriously alter the vehicle's ride behavior.
– Following modifications, ride slowly at first to get the feel of the new ride behavior.

– Position the fork legs.
Info
The upper milled groove in the fork leg must be flush with the top edge of
the upper triple clamp.
Position bleeder screws 1 to the front.

Screw, top triple clamp M8 20 Nm

– Tighten screws 3.
Guideline
Screw, bottom triple clamp M8 15 Nm
