Preparatory work
– Raise the motorcycle with a lift stand. ( p. 27)

Remove the front wheel. x ( p. 58)

Remove the fork legs. x ( p. 29)
– Dismount the start number plate. ( p. 33)
– Dismount the front fender. ( p. 34)

Main work
– Remove fuel tank breather 1.
– Remove nut 2. Remove screw 3, take off top triple clamp with the handlebar and
place it on one side.
Info
Protect the motorcycle and its attachments against damage by covering
them.
Do not bend the cables and lines.

– Remove the lower triple clamp with the steering stem.
– Remove the upper steering head bearing.
