Turn clockwise to increase damping; turn counterclock-
wise to reduce damping.
Finishing work
– Install the shock absorber. ( p. 68)
– Remove the motorcycle from the lift stand. ( p. 57)
– Install the Powerpack HV. ( p. 109)
– Lock the seat. ( p. 69)
12.5 Adjusting the rebound damping of the shock absorber
Caution
Risk of injury Parts of the shock absorber will move around if the shock absorber is detached incorrectly.
The shock absorber is filled with highly compressed nitrogen.
