Preparatory work
– Deactivate the vehicle. ( p. 43)
– Fold the seat up. ( p. 69)
– Remove the Powerpack HV. ( p. 108)
– Mount the protection cap. ( p. 71)

Main work
– Move the brake fluid reservoir attached to the right of the han-
dlebar to a horizontal position.

Remove screws

– Remove the cable tie(s) and disconnect plug-in connector.

Remove screws

– Manually press the brake caliper toward the brake disc to push
back the brake pistons. Ensure that brake fluid does not flow
out of the brake fluid reservoir; extract some if necessary.

Make sure that you do not press the brake caliper
against the spokes when pushing back the brake
pistons.

Remove pin

Remove brake linings

and the retainer spring.
– Press the brake piston back into the basic position and ensure
that brake fluid does not flow out of the brake fluid reservoir,
extracting some if necessary.
– Clean brake caliper.
– Check the brake discs. ( p. 79)
– Position the retainer spring.
– Position the new brake linings.

Always change the brake linings in pairs.

ings against the retainer spring.
Make sure the brake linings and retainer spring are
seated correctly.
