After EVERY trip on salted roads, thoroughly clean the
motorcycle and, in particular, the brake calipers and
brake linings while cooled and installed with cold water
and dry carefully.
– Treat the engine, the swingarm, and all other bare or zinc
plated parts (except brake discs) with a wax-based corrosion
inhibitor.
Info
Corrosion inhibitor is not permitted to come in contact
with the brake discs as this would greatly reduce the
braking force.
