8.2.2 Outer swath disc
The swathing system comprises the following
component:
• 1 outer swath wheel (Adjustable).
- Position the swath wheel in order to obtain an
angle between 16° (A) and 32° (A’).
The maximum cutting height L1 = 80 mm (3.1’’)
is obtained when the disks are parallel to the
ground.
The minimum height must not be below L2 = 30
mm (1.1’’).
Too low a cutting height can lead to:
• Excessive disc and knife wear.
• Crop being contaminated by soil.
• Delay in regrowth.
