Risk to the environment due to oil contamination of the cooling water circuit
With a leaky condenser there is the danger that refrigerating machine oil from the refrigerant circuit of the cooling thermo-
stat can pass into the cooling water.
Follow all the legal requirements and the regulations of the water supply utility which apply at the point of use.
Water pollution due to leakage
To avoid pollution due to a leak in the cooling water system it is recommended that a leakage-water detector with a water
cut-off is installed.
Servicing intervals
Follow the information for cleaning and decalcifying the cooling water circuit ( 8.3.4.2).
