8.6 Taking the device out of service
The device must be taken out of service by a specialist.
Comply with the following safety information:
Caution!
Contact with hot / cold heat transfer liquid
Scalds, frostbite
 Bring the heat transfer liquid to room temperature before
draining.
 Drain the device and any accessories (e.g. hoses) before
packing thoroughly.
Caution!
Skin contact with hot / cold surfaces
Burns, frostbite
 Bring the surfaces to room temperature before touching
them.
Caution!
Uncontrolled escape of refrigerant /
explosion
Crushing, impacts, cuts
 No disposal with cooling circuit under pressure.
 Only a specialist is permitted to take the device out of ser-
vice.
Caution!
Falling / toppling equipment
Crushing of hands and feet, impacts
 Use the handles (grip heating thermostats underneath the
device).
