10 Faults
10.1 Alarms, errors and warnings
All alarms, error messages and warnings triggered on the device appear in
text form on the display.
Alarms aect safety. The components of the device, such as the pump,
switch o. The device emits an sound. Once the cause of the fault has been
eliminated, the alarm can be canceled with the Enter key.
Refer to Ä Chapter 10.2 “Alarms” on page 147 for a list of alarms.
Warnings do not have a significant eect on safety. The device continues
to operate. The device will make a continuous noise for a short period of
time. Warnings are issued periodically. Once the cause of the fault has been
eliminated, the warning can be canceled with the Enter key.
If an error occurs, the device emits a sound.
If this happens, switch o the device at the mains switch. If the error occurs
again after switching on the device, make a note of the error code and the
corresponding description and contact the LAUDA Constant Temperature
Equipment Service department. You will find the contact information here

Errors are displayed with an appropriate description and an error
code in the form of a consecutive number.
10.2 Alarms
Alarms are shown on all displays in use.
