Cause ð Possible remedy
Display: Low flow (cooling unit).
(Flow in the evaporator area too low)
n Check whether the hydraulic circuit is blocked (closed
valves, jammed hose, dirt,...). ð remedy the cause.
n Pump level is too low ð select a higher pump level.
n Hose cross-section too small ð increase the cross-
section or install a bypass.
n Cooling output is too high for the available flow rate ð
reduce the cooling output.
Display: Low flow (heater)
(Flow in the heater area too low).
n Check whether the hydraulic circuit is blocked (closed
valves, jammed hose, dirt,...). ð remedy the cause.
n Pump level is too low ð select a higher pump level.
n The device is not suciently aerated or degassed ð
degas the device again.
n Hose cross-section too small ð increase the cross-
section or install a bypass.
n Heating output is too high for the available flow rate ð
reduce the heating output.
Display: Overtemperature protection
n Wait until the outflow temperature has cooled below
the overtemperature switch-o point or set the switch-
o point higher than the outflow temperature.
Display: Level very low
(Impending low level in expansion vessel)
Display: Low level
(Low level in expansion vessel)
n Check hoses, connections and consumers for leaky
points (leaks) ð if necessary, eliminate the leakage and
top up the missing heat transfer liquid.
n Check the constant temperature equipment as to
whether there is a leaky point (leak) ð if necessary
inform the LAUDA Service department Ä Chapter

n The liquid level can drop due to cooling or degassing ð
if necessary refill the missing heat transfer liquid.
Display: Level too high
(Impending high level in expansion vessel).
Display: Level too high
(High level in expansion vessel).
n heating increases the volume
n the heat transfer liquid has absorbed moisture from the
ambient air
Display: Pump blocked
(Pump motor monitoring: overload, blockage).
n The viscosity of the heat transfer liquid is too high ð
change to another heat transfer liquid or increase the
set temperature.
n The pump is blocked ð inform the LAUDA Service
department Ä Chapter 14.4 “Contact LAUDA”
on page 160
Display: Low level (pump)
(Pump motor monitoring: idling).
n No liquid in system. If this is the case, the level mon-
itoring has failed. ð Check whether the float in the
