5.4.3 Function menu
Tap to unfold function menu, it mainly includes the following items:
Name Description
Diagnostic Congures X-431 PADII to operate as
a diagnostic tool.
Repair Data Provides a mass of service information
for various vehicle models, which
enables users to retrieve service data
online.
Update To update vehicle diagnostic software.
golo To launch golo IM (Instant Messaging)
application.

Chrome Launches the Chrome browser.
Camera Opens the camera.
Oscilloscope
(Optional)

equipment and circuit trouble.
Sensor
(Optional)
To diagnose/simulate vehicle ECU
sensor trouble.
Multimeter
(Optional)
To measure physical parameters such

To check unseen or unreachable parts
or components.

To manage My Connector, My Report,

5.5 Download/ Update Diagnostic Software
Before diagnosing a vehicle, you have to download the corresponding
vehicle diagnosis software.
Tap , and then tap “Update” to select the paired diagnostic
connector. Tap the serial number and a list of diagnostic software will
pop up on the screen.

y default, all diagnostic software is selected. To select certain
software, tap “Unselect”, and then uncheck the box next to car make.
Tap “One-Click Update” to start downloading.
Once downloading is nished, the software packages will be installed
automatically.
Note: If applications of extending modules are downloaded, the
system will decompress it automatically. In this case, tap it to install it.

to return to the function selection screen.
