Powering on the recorder
After creating the desired connections, perform the following steps to power
on the recorder:
Connect the power cable and
DC power adapter.
Plug the power cable into a power outlet.
Plug the DC adapter into the power jack on the rear panel of the recorder.
The Power LED lights green
and the startup splash screen
displays.
The startup splash screen may differ from the example above.
Depending on the connection method selected, you may need to
manually select your TVs' display mode to view the picture.
In the course of normal operation, the first On -Screen Display (OSD)
screen displayed is the Main menu.
The first time you power on the
recorder (or after resetting to
factory defaults) the Setup
(First Time) screen displays.
