1. INITIAL POWER-UP
Although this instrument is very easy to operate, we ask you both for
safety's sake and for optimum utilization of the instrument to read the
following operating instructions carefully.
1.1 Inserting the Batteries
To prevent damage the instrument is not delivered with built-in batteries. These
must be fit before the first use.
CAUTION! Before inserting the batteries, all measuring leads must be
disconnected and the instrument switched off and disconnected. It is not
necessary to remove the rubber holster. Now the two screws

of the
battery cover can be loosened with a suitable coin or a suitable screwdriver
and the batteries can be included now.
When inserting the batteries, mind the correct polarity as stamped in
the recess.
Always insert a complete set of batteries!
Close battery cover orderly.
The instrument in now ready.
