a. Carefully press to open the retaining clip.

Align the memory module with the slot.
c.
Firmly press both ends of the memory module straight down into the slot until the retaining
clip snaps into the locked position.
Step 3. If there are plans of installing additional memory modules, proceed to install all of them.
After this task is completed
• If applicable, reinstall the intrusion switch (see
“Install an intrusion switch with cable” on page 98).
• Proceed to complete the parts replacement (see
“Complete the parts replacement” on page 161).
