Install a dust filter into the shipping bracket of an enclosure
Notes:
• Depending on the specific configuration, the node, enclosure, or rails might look different from the
illustrations in this section.
Procedure
Step 1. Make preparations for this task.
a. Remove the shipping bracket from the enclosure (see “Remove a node from a rack” on page
45
).
Step 2. Align the dust filter with the slot in the shipping bracket; then, insert the dust filter into place.

After this task is completed
• Install the shipping bracket back to the enclosure (see
“Install a node to the rack” on page 52).
Power adapter replacement
Follow instructions in this section to remove or install power adapter(s). The server might or might not come
with this component.
Note: ThinkEdge SE350 V2 is designed to be used with various mounting options, including desktop mount
and rack mount. Depending on the mounting option, the node can stand alone in desktop mount or be
installed in an enclosure.
