Toinstallaflashmediacard,dothefollowing:
1.Locatethemedia-cardslot.See“Locatingcomputercontrols,connectors,andindicators”onpage1.
2.Makesurethatthecardiscorrectlyoriented,andtheninsertthecardintothemedia-cardslot.
Afteryouinstallaflashmediacard,dothefollowingtoenabletheplug-and-playfeatureforthecard:
1.OpenControlPanel,andensurethatyouviewControlPanelbyCategory.
2.ClickHardwareandSound.
3.ClickDeviceManager.Ifyouarepromptedforanadministratorpasswordorconfirmation,typethe
passwordorprovideconfirmation.
4.FromtheActionmenu,selectAddlegacyhardware.TheAddHardwareWizardstarts.
5.Followtheinstructionsonthescreen.
Toremoveaflashmediacard,dothefollowing:
1.ClickthetriangulariconintheWindowsnotificationareatoshowhiddenicons.
2.Selecttheitemyouwanttoremovetostopthecard.
3.Pressthecardtoejectitfromyourcomputer.
4.Removethecardandstoreitsafelyforfutureuse.
Note:IfyoudonotremovethecardfromyourcomputerafteryouejectthecardfromtheWindowsoperating
system,thecardcannolongerbeaccessed.Toaccessthecard,youmustremoveitfirst,theninsertitagain.
