Whenthecameraisstarted,thegreencamera-in-useindicatorturnson.
Youalsocanusetheintegratedcamerawithotherprogramsthatprovidefeaturessuchasphotographing,
videocapturing,andvideoconferencing.Tousetheintegratedcamerawithotherprograms,openoneofthe
programsandstartthephotographing,videocapturing,orvideoconferencingfunction.Then,thecamera
willstartautomaticallyandthegreencamera-in-useindicatorwillturnon.Formoreinformationaboutusing
thecamerawithaprogram,refertothehelpinformationsystemoftheprogram.
Configuringcamerasettings
Youcanconfigurethecamerasettingstomeetyourneeds,suchasadjustingthequalityofthevideooutput.
Toconfigurethecamerasettings,dothefollowing:
•ForWindows7:StarttheCommunicationsUtilityprogramandconfigurethecamerasettingsasdesired.
•ForWindows10:Dooneofthefollowing:
–OpentheCameraapp,clickthesettingsiconintheupper-rightcorner.Followtheinstructionsonthe
screentoconfigurethecamerasettingsasdesired.
–ClickLenovoSettingsfromtheStartmenu.ThenclickCamera.Followtheinstructionsonthe
screentoconfigurethecamerasettingsasdesired.
Usingaflashmediacard

Yourcomputerhasamedia-cardslot,itsupportsthefollowingcards:

•SecureDigital(SD)card
•SecureDigitalHigh-Capacity(SDHC)card
•SecureDigitaleXtended-Capacity(SDXC)card
Note:Yourcomputerdoesnotsupportthecontentprotectionforrecordablemedia(CPRM)feature

Installingorremovingaflashmediacard
Attention:Beforeinstallingorremovingaflashmediacard,ensurethatyouobservethefollowing
precautions:
•Beforeyoustart,read“Staticelectricityprevention”onpage101

•Duringthedatatransfer,donotputyourcomputerintosleeporhibernationmodeanddonotperformany
installationorremovalactions.Otherwise,yourdatacouldgetdamaged.
•Donotremoveasmartcardwhilethecomputerisinsleeporhibernationmode.Otherwise,thesystem
mightnotrespondwhenyoutrytoresumeoperation.
