IftheoptionalQuickChargerisavailable,useittochargetheover-dischargedbatterypack.
Ifthebatterypackcannotbefullychargedin24hours,useanewbatterypack.
•Problem:Yourcomputershutsdownbeforethebatterystatusindicatorshowsempty,-or-Your
computeroperatesafterthebatterystatusindicatorshowsempty.
Solution:Dischargeandrechargethebatterypack.
•Problem:Theoperatingtimeforafullychargedbatterypackisshort.
Solution:Dischargeandrechargethebatterypack.Ifyourbattery'soperatingtimeisstillshort,usea
newbatterypack.
•Problem:Thecomputerdoesnotoperatewithafullychargedbatterypack.
Solution:Thesurgeprotectorinthebatterypackmightbeactive.Turnoffthecomputerforoneminuteto
resettheprotector;thenturnonthecomputeragain.
•Problem:Thebatterypackcannotbecharged.
Solution:Youcannotchargethebatterywhenitistoohot.Ifthebatteryfeelshot,detachacpower
adapter,leavecomputerturnedoffandallowittocooltoroomtemperature.Afteritcools,rechargethe
battery.Ifitstillcannotbecharged,haveitserviced.
ACpoweradapterproblems
•Problem:Theacpoweradapterisconnectedtothecomputerandtheworkingelectricaloutlet,butthe
poweradapter(powerplug)iconisnotdisplayedinthetaskbar.Alsotheacpowerindicatordoes
notlightup.
Solution:Doasfollows:
1.Makesurethattheconnectionoftheacpoweradapteriscorrect.Forconnectingtheacpower
adapter,seetheSetupInstructionsmanualincludedintheshippingcontentsofyourcomputer.
2.Iftheabovestepiscorrect,turnoffthecomputer,thendisconnecttheacpoweradapter.
3.Reconnecttheacpoweradapter,thenturnonthecomputer.
4.Ifthepoweradaptericonstilldoesnotappearonthetaskbarandtheacpowerindicatordoesnot
lightup,havetheacpoweradapterandyourcomputerserviced.
