totheThinkPadSetup.
TochangeorremovetheUserharddiskpassword,doasfollows:
•Tochangetheharddiskpassword,typethecurrentpasswordintheEnterCurrentPasswordeld.Then
typethenewpasswordintheEnterNewPasswordeld,andretypethepasswordyoujustenteredto
verifyitintheConrmNewPasswordeld.PressEnter,andaSetupNoticewindowisdisplayed.Press
F10toexitfromtheSetupNoticewindow.Theuserharddiskpasswordswillbechanged.
•Toremovetheharddiskpassword,typethecurrentpasswordintheEnterCurrentPasswordeld.
ThenleavetheEnterNewPasswordandConrmNewPasswordeldsblank,andpressEnter.A
