Drive LEDs
This topic provides information on drive LEDs.
The following table describes the problems that are indicated by drive activity LED and drive status LED.

LED Description
1 Drive activity
LED (green)
Each hot-swap drive comes with an activity LED. When this LED is flashing, it indicates that the
drive is in use.
2 Drive status
LED (yellow)
The drive status LED indicates the following status:
The LED is lit: the drive has failed.
The LED is flashing slowly (once per second): the drive is being rebuilt.
The LED is flashing rapidly (three times per second): the drive is being identified.
Front operator panel LEDs
The front operator panel of the node provides controls, connectors, and LEDs.

You can press the power button to power on the server when you finish setting up the server. You also can
hold the power button for several seconds to power off the server if you cannot shut down the server from
the operating system. The states of the power LED are as follows:
