General safety
Followtheserulesbelowtoensuregeneralsafety:
• Observeagoodhousekeeping inthe areawhere themachines areput
duringandafterthemaintenance.
• Whenliftinganyheavyobject:
1. Makesurethatyoucanstandsafelywithoutslipping.
2. Distributetheweightoftheobjectequallybetweenyourfeet.
3. Useaslowliftingforce.Nevermovesuddenlyortwistwhenyouattempt
toliftit.
4. Liftitbystandingorpushingupwithyourlegmuscles;thisactioncould
avoidthestrainfromthemusclesinyourback.Donotattempttoliftany
objectthatweighsmorethan16kg(35lb)orthatyouthinkistooheavy
foryou.
• Donotperformany actionthat causeshazards tothecustomer,orthat
makesthemachineunsafe.
• Beforeyou startthe machine,make surethatotherservicerepresentatives
andthecustomerarenotinahazardousposition.
• Pleaseremovecoversand otherparts inasafeplace, awayfrom all
personnel,whileyouareservicingthemachine.
• Keepyourtoolcaseawayfromwalkareas sothat otherpeoplewillnottrip
overit.
• Donotwearlooseclothingthatcan betrapped inthemovingpartsofthe
machine.Makesurethatyoursleevesarefastenedorrolledupaboveyour
elbows.Ifyourhairislong,fastenit.
• Inserttheendsofyournecktieor scarfinside clothingorfastenitwiththe
nonconductiveclip,about8centimeters(3inches)fromtheend.
• Donotwearjewelry,chains,metal-frameeyeglasses,ormetalfastenersfor
yourclothing.
Attention:Metalobjectsaregoodelectricalconductors.
• Wearsafetyglasses whenyou arehammering,drilling,soldering,cutting
wire,attachingsprings,usingsolvents,orworkinginanyotherconditions
thatmaybehazardoustoyoureyes.
• Afterservice, reinstallall safetyshields, guards,labels,andgroundwires.
Replaceanysafetydevicethatiswornordefective.
• Reinstallallcoverscorrectlybeforereturningthemachinetothecustomer.
• Fanlouversonthemachinehelptopreventtheoverheatingofinternal
components.Donotobstructfanlouversorcoverthemwithlabelsor
stickers.
