reaches
its
final value, the
axis

time

„Position Window“
defines the
band
of
positions
which
are
accepted
as
sufficiently
accurate. When
this
window
is
reached,
the
commanded
movement
is
assumed
to
be
completed,
and
the
next
instruction
is
commen
-
ced,
even
though
final position
may
not
yet
quite
be
reached.
This allows
faster
Operation
of
the
program.
