8.1.5Mountable vibration isolators
The mountable vibration isolators can be used to reduce the transmitted
vibration from the pump to a mounting surface such as a system frame.
The mountable vibration isolators have xing holes to allow the pump to be
bolted to the oor or system frame.

Installation
Make sur
e the pump is switched off before tting.
1. Unscrew and remove the standard rubber feet if tted.1.

3. Using 5 mm bolts (not supplied), x the vibration isolators bolted to the3.
xing surface or system frame.

e recommend the tting of exible tubing or bellows connections between
the pump-inlet and the pump- outlet and the rest of the system, to prevent
the transmission of stress to the vacuum pipelines and/or equipment.
