FanOverrideSwitch(Optional)
Withthefanoverrideswitch,theoperatorhastheoptionofoverridingthepreset
parametersforfanengagementtoengagethefanwhennecessary.Thefanmaybe
engagedwhilethevehicleismovingorwhileparked.Enablingthefanoverride
option,andtheparametersforoverridetimelimits,arecustomerprogrammable
usingapersonalcomputerrunningtheVCADSsoftware.Forfanoverridewiththe
vehiclemoving,thetimelimitmaybesetbetween1and25minutes;withthevehicle
parked,thereisnotimelimit.
Theoperatormaydisengagethefan(canceltheoverride)after30secondsbypressing
theoverrideswitchasecondtime.Theoperatorcannotinterferewithfanoperation
(override)ifthefanisengagedduetocoolanttemperature,inletairtemperatureor
Freonpressure.Ifthefanismanuallyengagedwiththefanoverrideswitchandengine
speedexceedsapresetoverspeed,vehiclemanagementandcontrol(V-MAC)IVwill
canceltheoverridetodisengagethefan.
