IntegratedTemp-A-Start(iTAS)isafullyintegratedvehiclemanagementandcontrol
(V-MAC)IVsystemdesignedtoimprovefueleconomybyreducingunnecessary
engineidling.WheniTASisenabledviaadashswitch,thesystemwillautomatically
startandstoptheenginetomaintainaminimumenginecoolanttemperature(ECT),
minimumbatteryvoltage,oracomfortablecabandsleeperinterior.iTASvoltageand
temperaturesettingsarefullyprogrammablethrougheitherVCADSsoftware,andvia
theCo-Pilotinstrumentclusterdisplay(ifavailableandenabled).
Note:Safetyoverrideswillpreventthe
systemfromactivatingifthetransmission
isingear,thehoodisup,ortheparking
brakeisreleased.

SpeedSensorTamperDetection
Speedsensortamperdetectionisusedtomonitorandstopunauthorizedtamperingof
thevehiclespeedlimitingfunctioninordertogainadditionaltopspeed.Iftampering
isdetected,thevehicleoperatorwillbenotiedbyadiagnostictroublecode(DTC).
Enginepowerwillbelimitedtoaprogrammedpercentageandwillcontinueuntilthe
issuehasbeencorrected.
Note:Torquelimitingwillbeinhibited
ifadriveshaftpowertakeoff(PTO)is
enabledandactive.
